Point State Park

09 November 2019

Carolyn attended a CAPA audition prep workshop, and since I had already paid the all-day flat rate for parking in the Sixth Street garage, I walked down to the nearest state park for some exercise: Point State Park

When the workshop was over, I asked if Carolyn wanted to visit the fountain. She did!

The Fort Pitt museum was open, so we went in.

A guide was showing a girl scout troop how to load/fire the cannon. There are many steps involved, so I was amazed to read a sign on the wall saying that at their peak the soldiers could fire the cannon 16-18 times per minute! The girl scouts weren't quite that fast.
